The Battle of Siege of Charleston

The battle happened in March 29- May 12,1780. At Charleston, South Carolina. The commanders were Sir Henry Clinton for the British and Benjamin Lincoln for the Continental. The British won because the city surrendered to the British. The reason it should be remembered because it took place toward the end of the American revolutionary war and it was one of the major battles.
